WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Persons with an interest to set up, organize, maintain and operate an organization’s internal audit program; lead auditor teams; prepare the organization’s quality management system for certification; or become independent auditor.
COURSE CONTENT
This four-day course prepares students to conduct audits, lead audit teams, and organize and operate internal audit programs. Graduates will be able to operate an effective internal audit program that will drive improvement, making the organization more effective and efficient.
On the first two days the students take a deep dive into ISO 9001 and develop a full understanding of the requirements, as well as the reasons behind the requirements. Includes a solid understanding of the origins of ISO 9001 and its relationship to other management system standards that may be beneficial to the organization.
Day three is focused on helping students of different backgrounds learn the principles and techniques of effective process auditing to the requirements of the ISO 9001 quality management system standard. If you have an established audit program in place, we train the class participants to use your procedures, templates and forms. That way, they are ready to start auditing for you as soon as the class is complete.
On day four, students learn about leading audit teams, setting up an audit program, operating the audit process, and continually improving the effectiveness of the process.
Achievement certificates are issued to students that successfully complete evaluations of the ISO 9001 requirements, auditing and audit team lead modules.
