In this one-and-a-half-day workshop we learn the principles of the standard, the requirements it imposes, the real benefits to be realized by implementing it and the risks of not implementing each clause.
By the end of the first day, participants have a clear, high-level, understanding of the requirements and benefits of ISO 9001. A: We offer internal auditor courses on ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, AS9001 and IATF 16949.
To get you started, we offer a two-day certification planning workshop, generally intended to help upper management understand what’s involved in the certification process. Optionally, this can be combined very effectively with our internal auditor course. Separately, we offer a 90-day, $20,000 certification program where we guide your organization every step of the way.
Your instructor is certified by Exemplar Global as an auditor of quality and environmental management systems, and by Probitas as an aerospace auditor. He is an active third-party auditor working with multiple certification bodies, and an independent quality management expert assisting organizations seeking to become certified. His background includes over 30 years of experience as a quality manager and manufacturing engineer in aerospace, automotive, oil-and-gas and other industries.
The most effective courses are onsite, at your facility, using your organization’s documented information, and relying on direct, person-to-person interaction. At the same time, we have extensive experience with virtual training. With appropriate planning, remote courses can be almost as effective as onsite ones. Virtual training is particularly suitable for distributed organizations, when travel restrictions are in place, or when other safety considerations exist. Whether online or onsite, we encourage a highly interactive format that ensures in-depth comprehension by all students.
Our lead auditor courses are certified by Exemplar Global. This is particularly beneficial to students who are planning to go into auditing on their own, or those who want a deeper understanding of the perspective brought by their certification body auditors.
We encourage our students to purchase the printed materials we provide. They allow the student to follow along with the presentations, take their own notes, and provide a valuable reference after the class. We also include a convenient pocket guide to the standard. If the student chooses not to receive printed materials, we provide the materials as copy-protected pdf files (included in the price). Additionally, all students are required to have a legally licensed copy of the standard, which we can provide at cost.
Our courses include an open-book test for each module, with a minimum 70% passing grade to obtain a certificate of achievement upon completion of the course. The certificate of achievement provides objective evidence of student competence as an internal auditor.
